Dominggus Mandacan Invites the Community to Support the Government

Commemoration of the 77th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia with the theme "Recover Faster Rise Stronger" provides encouragement for the children of the nation in West Papua to move forward in building the nation and state.

To fill this independence, the Arfak Tribal Chief Drs Dominggus Mandacan, M.Si appealed to all the nation's children to support local government programs in all fields.
 
Development in all sectors, both in government, society and other fields, requires collaboration from all parties to unite perceptions, determination and togetherness for regional development.
 
The governor of West Papua for the 2017-2022 period said that the previous fighters fought for independence in 1945 with mediocre firearms and pointed bamboo.

"Nowadays, we are carrying out development by bringing machetes, hoes, computers, human resources and so on for us to fill in the development, for that I invite the people of West Papua, let us give support, especially prayer support to the West Papua Provincial Government, 12 Regencies/Cities so that work to serve in their duties," said Dominggus Mandacan in his press statement to reporters after attending a commemoration ceremony for the 77th Independence Day at Sanggeng Stadium, Manokwari Regency, Wednesday (17/8/2022).

Dominggus also appealed to the people of West Papua to work together with the government to maintain security and order in their respective areas so that the situation is under control and welfare is guaranteed.
 
Mandacan hopes that with 77 years of independence, tolerance between religious communities in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), especially West Papua Province, will continue to be improved so that people can live in peace.

"Harmony, togetherness, unity between all ethnic groups, religions, races, customs and cultures must be maintained because this is the main capital to build Indonesia, the land of Papua, the province of West Papua as a whole," he hoped.
