Minister of Religion Fachrul Razi Launches Program We Love Papua




The Indonesian Minister of Religion, Fachrul Razi, launched the "We Love Papua" program in Jayapura City.

Attending the event was the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Aceh Province, Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Maluku Province, Chair of the FKUB Aceh Province, Chair of the Papua Province FKUB and Chair of the Maluku Province FKUB, former Commander of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) who is now the General Chair of the Aceh Politk Party, Muzakkir Manaf and artist, lawyer and politician, Ruhut Sitompul, and the leadership of Forkopimda in Papua.

The Ministry of Religion's program "We Love Papua" is an affirmative program in order to accelerate development in the field of religion and religious education, which specifically targets improving the quality of resources for indigenous Papuan children (OAP), improving facilities and infrastructure for worship, facilities and educational infrastructure which leads to an increase in morals and quality of faith.

Of course it is hoped that the acceleration of development in the field of religion and religious education carried out through the We Love Papua program can contribute to shaping human resources of the young generation of indigenous Papuans who are quality, reliable, and have a strong foundation of faith but are also moderate and tolerant.

This also applies to the acceleration of development or optimization of programs in the field of religion and religious education in Papua Province. A consultative dialogue framework and constructive ideas are needed in order to succeed in the development of the religious sector initiated by the Ministry of Religion specifically through the "We Love Papua" Program.
